A lightbulb full of soft, glowing, multi-colored confetti bursting out.

Hello,

I enjoy using design + code to build a better world.

My focus is projects that improve our communities, health, security, privacy, and freedom.

When I'm not building, you will likely find me soaking up sun in the great outdoors. A few favorite spots are a soccer pitch, a basketball court, a paddle-operated watercraft, a surfboard, one waterski, or a hiking trail in a great forest.

When the weather doesn't cooperate, puzzles, algorithms, and cryptographcy are hobby curosities.

If you like logic puzzles, I recommend this website. Wave if you are able to waltz past 130. And, if you like algorithms and code, head over to Project Euler. Maybe in retirement I'll have time to complete the set.

There is an interesting relationship between zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) as an avenue for identity, and partial-identity, verification alongside cryptographically secure legacy handoff. In combination, it is possible to build digital systems which improve trust, safety, security, and privacy. We do not need to speed run toward an Orwellian surveillance state in the name of trust and safety at the sacrifice of security and privacy as current policy trends might suggest, we just need to be thoughtful about what tools we build.

If you are an optimist building a better future, let's connect!
